A Short Bio
Born in Beijing, China, Trevor Zhou and his family moved in 1988 to Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Studies. During his time in college, he decided to explore and went abroad to study art at the University of Cape Town in South Africa for a year.
After his trip to Africa, Trevor has been producing art both in the studio and on the streets. His art has been in South Africa, China, Germany, and the US.
A business venture brought him to New Jersey where he fell in backwards into the world of acting through a serendipitous opportunity.
Trevor is currently living in Brooklyn, New York and as been acting for a year and a half and has been in a national and several regional commercials. He landed his first TV role in Law & Order: SVU, has been in a handful of independent films and was the lead in his first play 'The Sweet Cheat", a unique, site specific, guerilla theater piece that was covered by the New York Times, Village Voice and other news media. He recently worked on the Spike Lee production 'The Girl is in Trouble' and also in the 20th Century Fox film 'The Sitter' with Jonah Hill and Sam Rockwell.
